Reproduction Services

We undertake a range of reproductive services which include but are not limited to: 

• Routine breeding soundness examinations 
• Pre breeding assessments 
• Artificial insemination (chilled/frozen) 
• Infertility investigations 
• Newborn examinations including blood analysis and IgG (assessment of maternal antibody transfer) 
• Intensive neonatal care 
• Neonatal orthopaedic surgery 

With the exceptions of intensive neonatal care and surgery these procedures can be carried out either on the yard or in the hospital.  Boarding facilities are available for mares undergoing artificial insemination with frozen semen as they require frequent examinations in order to optimise the timing of insemination.
